Many things are more important than money. Luckily for Avicii, he didn’t have to think about the latter. He’s turning 27 in about a week, and as of last night, officially retired from touring.
Avicii burst onto the scene in 2011, and has played nearly 1 set per week all over the globe in the past 5 years while accumulating over $75 million in worth.
He’s battled pancreatitis and the removal of his gall bladder, and ultimately, his body is giving out. Don’t worry, he will still make music, you just won’t see him on the go, go, go anymore.
He’s chosen health and happiness above money and fame. Luckily he can still have it all.
