JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is in discussions to be the performer for halftime of Super Bowl LII, and I could not be MORE excited! Aside from him being a phenomenal performer, do you REMEMBER the last Super Bowl he performed in? He was a guest on Janet Jackson’s performance… and that was where the infamous term “wardrobe malfunction” was coined and FCC guidelines were forever changed because of accidentally exposing Janet’s bare breast to the whole world on live TV. That was (by this Super Bowl) FOURTEEN YEARS ago- 2004! The Patriots have won four Super Bowls, and lost two since then. Even the Bears went to the Super Bowl in that time. That was only the second Super Bowl to ever be in FEBRUARY instead of January.

In the year that Justin Timberlake last was a half-time performer, Facebook launched to JUST Harvard, and was called TheFacebook at that time. George W Bush won his second term as president that year. Massachusetts became the first state to legalize same-sex marriage. There were a ton of natural disasters that year including a massive 9.0 earthquake which caused a giant tsunami, and four hurricanes that hit the US East Coast.
