If you love Oreos and Swedish fish, contain yourselves: You can now have both at once, without having to actually stuff both of them in your mouth separately.
Nabisco just launched the newest addition to the Oreo family: Swedish Fish flavor.
Here’s the catch though (All great innovations have one): You can only get them at Kroger.
Why Kroger? I don’t know. It seems slightly unfair, since Kroger is not actually accessible to a huge chunk of the population. But I guess they can’t please everybody. If you live near a Kroger, like I happen to, obtaining them won’t be an issue. If you don’t live near a Kroger, you may have to go on an adventure to find one.
The biggest question here though, is are they any good? There have been quite a few interesting Oreo flavors introduced in the last few years that sort of missed the mark (let’s not forget the Caramel Apple ones that were sold exclusively at Target a few years ago, or the Lemon ones before that). Some of the others, like the all-chocolate Oreo or the Birthday Cake ones, became fan favorites over time. But some of the attempts to incorporate new or interesting flavors have fallen flat.
So, am I going to try them? Absolutely. I just bought some today.
Should you try them? Absolutely.
Are they going to be any good? I don’t know.
If all else, fails, we still have Double Stuf to get us through.
