The 1985 Chicago Bears defense is considered the greatest of all time. The team almost went undefeated, and just destroyed playoff opponents on the way to winning Super Bowl 20. The man that designed that defense, Buddy Ryan, has passed at the age of 82. That 85 team was so good, Ryan was handed the head coaching job in Philadelphia the following season.

Buddy’s twin sons are part of the Buffalo Bills organization with Rex as the head coach, and Rob is the assistant head coach of defense.

If it weren’t for that 1985 team, I might still be searching for the first rap song I ever memorized. RIP Buddy.
