Today is Ghostbusters Day! 32 years ago today was the opening for one of the greatest comedies of all time. In fact, by the money, it could be argued Ghostbusters is the greatest comedy. In the mid 80s, comedies didn’t finish as one of the top grossing films of the year, and when adjusted for inflation, Ghostbusters made serious scratch. That’s why everyone has such high hopes for the reboot coming in the next couple of weeks.
Ecto cooler is back on the shelves, Ghostbusters is about to hit the big screen, and the Cubs are going to the playoffs. Maybe it really is the 80s. If everyday can be Ghostbusters Day for me, it can be the 80s for you.
