I still remember the moment when I fell in love with Alicia Keys.  It was the “Fallen” video.  Such a great talent that you knew she had a very bright future.  It has been some time since we have heard about a new album from Keys, but I’m okay with that.  I am a full believer of make me miss you.  While I won’t complain about artist that never seem to go away, constantly putting out hits, I would much rather they take creative breaks.  I can only imagine what the toll of being in the studio, touring world wide and being away from family does to a person.  You look at some projects and turn your nose to it because an artist is more focused on quantity and not quality.

Looking at this new single, “In Common,” I can see that Alicia Keys put some work into this one.  It is a really bad tease as now I want to know what the rest of this album has in store.  Enjoy the first single below.
