A holiday that involves alcoholic beverages? I’M IN!

My wife and I LOVE margaritas, and our favorite place to get them is Los Jimadores on University! And right now, my wife is 3 weeks away from having our 2nd baby boy, so that means… MORE FOR ME!

Join me at Los Jimadores for lunch, and stay all day!

I will be there from noon-2p enjoying the food, and of course margaritas.

Grab some gear from Peoria’s 92.3, a margarita (if you are 21 and older), and pick something yummy to eat!

My suggestions for food are any of the quesadillas, Texas fajitas (if you like shrimp, steak, and chicken), or the pollo ranchero! Really, anything on the menu is muy bien!

And in case you are wondering why we celebrate Cinco de Mayo:

The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. In the United States, Cinco de Mayo is sometimes mistaken to be Mexico’s Independence Day—the most important national holiday in Mexico—which is celebrated on September 16!

Now, join me at Los Jimadores on University St from noon – 2p for Cinco De Mayo!

ORyan tha KANG!
