I am at that point in my life when all of my friends are getting married.  I always look forward to those phone calls, and hearing the excitement from my friends.  Plus it means there will be at least a few parties before the big day.

While I know each of my friends proposals were special in their own way, I think this one takes the cake.  The young woman in this video is receiving a cochlear implant.  We have seen a lot of these videos where we get to see children receive theirs and hear their parents voices for the first time.  This time is much different as one of the first things she hears is a proposal from her boyfriend. There is nothing flashy about this proposal, but this is one of the biggest gesture he could have put together.
