YouTube is full of great content from “how to” videos to viral videos and pretty much anything else you can possible think of. One particular genre of YouTube that we’ll be focusing on today is that of the “Beauty Vlogger”. In these videos, attractive 20-somethings will give beauty and make-up tips to girls all across the world. So, as you would imagine, these women have millions of subscribers which then leads to sponsors and LOT AND LOTS OF MONEY. If you’re on YouTube as much as I am, you’ve probably stumbled upon one of these types of videos at one point or another.

So what’s the point of this blog you ask? I shall tell you.

Popular comedy YouTube channel, College Humor, hit the mark with its new video, “Every Beauty Vlogger Ever”, which, as you can probably guess, is a satirical take on the whole genre. Writer/Actor Emily Axford pokes fun at everything from the names of the different segments themselves to the fact that they’ll never actually be your friend in real life… 🙁 TAKE A LOOK SEE!
