Mean Girls is easily a cult classic that defines our generation. Say something is “fetch” to any woman age 18-30 and I guarantee you her response will be “Gretchen stop trying to make fetch happen! It’s not going to happen!”

I remember when Mean Girls came out back in 2004 and my aunt took my sister, my two cousins, and me to see it. I was only 10 at the time but it was so funny! (I was probably too young to even understand most of the jokes) but I didn’t care. All I knew was those girls were freaking crazy but I enjoyed every minute of craziness. I do remember knowing that most of the jokes were extremely inappropriate but that just made me appreciate them even more. I even remember getting into a physical fight with my sister and cousins as soon as we got home from the movie theatre and my dad being super pissed and blaming my aunt for taking us to see that “horrible” movie about those mean girls. Good times, man. Good times.

Since then I’ve watched Mean Girls an estimated 50 times and up until 10 minutes ago I thought I knew all there was to know about the movie. Thanks to the jerks over at BuzzFeed I now know that I belong in the Burn Book because I don’t know anything about Mean Girls and I can’t sit with them!
