Kanye West…love him or hate him, we will always want to hear what he has to say.
This past weekend, Kanye headlined the Glastonbury Festival in England and humbly declared himself…wait for it…”the greatest living rock star on the planet”. As you can imagine, the internet blew up. And Monday, radio station Q104.3 in New York posted a hilarious video mashing up a Kanye cover of Bohemian Rhapsody with Freddie Mercury’s rendition.
The video also cuts to video of Freddie laughing it up during Kanye’s singing, then while Freddie is lighting up the stage, the video cuts to a very pissed off looking Kanye.
“the greatest living rock star on the planet”?!?! Are you kidding me?!
YOU’RE NOT EVEN IN THE ROCK GENRE. When we still have two Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Santana and CHUCK FREAKIN BERRY still alive and kickin’ you have no right whatsoever to call yourself the greatest living rock star on the planet.
You can though, call yourself “the greatest living speech interrupter on the planet” or “the greatest living Kardashian husband on the planet” to name a few.
So, who did it better, Kanye or Freddie? Do you agree that Kanye is the greatest living rock star on the planet? I’ll let you be the judge of that.
