From award winning filmmaker Ryan Coogler, the official trailer for “Creed” finally came out. The new movie explores a new chapter in the “Rocky” story. Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan star in this sports drama.
In the film, Jordan plays the son, Adonis Johnson, to famous world heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed. Adonis never knew his father, who died before he was born. Still, boxing is in his blood and ends up following his father’s footsteps in the ring.
Throughout the movie, Adonis tracks down Rocky and asks him to be his trainer. Rocky agrees to take this challenge and sees the determination Adonis has just like his father Apollo – one of Rocky’s rivals who became a close friend.
“Creed” also stars Tessa Thompson as Bianca, who’s a local singer who becomes romantically involved with Adonis. The film also stars Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne Creed, who is known as Apollo’s widow. And an English pro boxer Anthony Bellew as boxing champs Ricky Conlan.
This movie will be in theatres November 25th.
