Kylie Cantrall is preparing to release her new EP, Valley Girl Problems, on July 24. In the announcement, the singer and actress framed the project as a personal step forward, built around the experiences, friendships, heartbreak, and self-discovery that shaped her past year.
The project includes the single Carrie Bradshaw, which places Cantrall in a glossy pop setting while leaning into themes of independence, confidence, and growing pains. She described the EP as an emotional ride, with listeners placed alongside her through the highs and lows of this new chapter.
Valley Girl Problems features nine tracks: GRWM, Valley Girl Problems, Closet, The Problem (Interlude), Carrie Bradshaw, The Answer (Interlude), Girls Like U, Yuck!, and Space Between.
The EP was produced by Tricky Stewart and written alongside Tayla Parx. For Cantrall, who has built a career across music, television, and film, the release marks another move toward defining her sound as a pop artist with a clear point of view.
