Tate McRae is preparing to release new music, with her upcoming single “Housewife” set to arrive on October 15, 2026.
The Canadian pop star confirmed the release date in an October 7 social media announcement, sharing promotional artwork that shows her wearing a red bikini beside a baby stroller filled with cash.
The announcement signals another step in McRae’s music career following the release of her 2025 album So Close to What. The project featured songs including “Sports Car” and helped maintain her presence in mainstream pop music.
Fans had already seen hints of new material during McRae’s festival appearances in August, when she introduced visual elements that suggested a possible change in creative direction.
For now, McRae has kept details about “Housewife” limited. She has not publicly revealed the full song, its lyrics, or whether it will be part of a larger project.
The October 15 release will give listeners their first opportunity to hear the new track and see how it fits into her growing catalog.
