A new app called Endless Summer uses A.I. to create fake photos so it LOOKS like you went on vacation. There’s also a Halloween mode that puts you in costume, so it looks like you dressed up and went to a party. It’s called Endless Summer because it’s mainly meant for fake VACATION pics. You can try out either mode and do four photos for free. Then you have to pay if you want more.

A Florida man was arrested after allegedly stealing a woman’s car with a one-year-old still inside. He immediately brought the vehicle back when he saw the child and then police were able to arrest him. Here is the 911 call made by the mother of the child.

Kohler just debuted a new TOILET CAMERA that watches you go, then uses an algorithm to analyze the results and track your health. It’s called “Dekoda” . . . a play on the word “decode” . . . and costs $600. It fits on the side of most toilet bowls and uses optical sensors to scan your waste. Then it spits out stats on your phone. You sign in on a fingerprint scanner, so it knows whose waste it’s scanning. It can tell you whether you’re dehydrated, and what percentage of your “sessions” are “regular” each week. It also looks for signs of any BLOOD. They say don’t worry, there’s no chance of your JUNK showing up on camera. Quote, “Dekoda’s sensors see down INTO your toilet and nowhere else.”

Halloween is a lot of fun for kids . . . but forget about them for a second. Should adults get their own night to celebrate Halloween?The term “ADULToween” is back in the news. The folks at Ferrero candies got it trending last year. Their new poll found over HALF of adults think grown-ups should get their own night to celebrate Halloween without involving the kids. 54% wish it was a thing.Here are a few more stats on candy and Halloween-obsessed adults, 1. Most of us agree Halloween isn’t JUST for kids. 62% think it’s “as much for adults as it is for children.” That jumps to 71% for parents. 2. Most parents WILL steal from their kids’ candy stash. Two-thirds say they have the “right” to dip into their kid’s stash starting November 1st. 58% think they should also be allowed to dig in WHILE taking their kids trick-or-treating. 3. Whether you have kids or not, you’re probably eating candy this month. 64% of us will buy candy even if we’re not expecting trick-or-treaters. 71% of parents said they’ll buy extra candy for themselves “just in case.” 4. The candy we’re most likely to steal? 76% said full-sized candy bars are their top choice . . . 72% prefer “familiar flavors” over new types . . . and 67% still prefer nostalgic favorites from their own childhood. 5. Men take Halloween a little more seriously. 52% splurge on premium candy to make sure they’re a “good candy house,” compared to 41% of women. 21% of men and 15% of women will also pass judgement on their neighbors if the candy they hand out sucks.

The Fall Of Pumpkin Spice
Is America’s love affair with pumpkin spice drawing to a close? No, it’s still beloved. But not by as many as it used to be. The first day of fall is still over a month out. (September 22nd) But an early poll for it found 58% of Americans think pumpkin spice is NOT the best fall flavor.
Congrats, Your Not Really Fired, But You Gotta Go
Companies are so passive aggressive now. A poll by the site Resume Builder found 38% of companies lay people off instead of firing them . . . just to avoid hurting people’s FEELINGS. 80% of bosses said their company has laid someone off in the past year when they could have fired them for cause. Sometimes it’s out of kindness, like to avoid hurt feelings or help out with severance. But the #1 reason they do it is more self-serving .
1. To maintain company morale. 62% of bosses cited it as a reason. So, we react better if we think our friend got laid off because the money just wasn’t there.
2. To avoid wrongful termination lawsuits. A close second at 59%.
3. To help the person out with a severance package, 54%. So, that one’s nice.
4. To avoid hurting their feelings, 38%. The old line, “You know I think you’re great. Corporate just gave me no choice.”
According to the poll, layoffs that aren’t REALLY layoffs are more common than you’d think. Half of the bosses polled said at least 75% of layoffs their company made in the past year weren’t really about cutting costs.
