CHADWICK BOSEMAN, a.k.a. “Black Panther”, died of complications from colon cancer on Friday. He was only 43. He was diagnosed four years ago, but never revealed it publicly. That means that he was fighting cancer while filming “Black Panther” and the last two “Avengers” movies. along with “Avengers: Infinity War”, and “Avengers: Endgame”, and the more recent movies mentioned in the Twitter post. He also hosted “SNL“ in 2018.
The MTV “Video Music Awards” were dedicated to CHADWICK BOSEMAN. LADY GAGA won Artist and Song of the Year for “Rain On Me”. THE WEEKND won Video of the Year for “Blinding Lights”. And MILEY CYRUS brought back the wrecking ball. MTV dedicated its “Video Music Awards” to CHADWICK BOSEMAN last night. it was LADY GAGA’s night on the MTV VMAS. Between winning multiple awards, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year (for “Rain On Me”), to her epic, 9-minute performance that included a guest appearance from ARIANA GRANDE. . .To receiving the “Tricon Award” for being a “multidimensional artist”, Gaga was pretty much all over the show. She didn’t get too political, other than telling people to wear a mask because it’s, quote, “a sign of respect.” And she practiced what she preached. She wore a variety of masks throughout the night, as did her band AND Ariana. Maybe young daughters everywhere swooned at, the biggest moment of the night was BTS performing “Dynamite”. And the BLACK EYED PEAS closed the show with “VIDA LOCA” and “I Got a Feeling
TONI BRAXTON may have wasted her youth. She says, quote, “I regret not having more sex when I was younger. I should have drank more. I should have partied more. Smoked more, even.”

Key To Happiness Revealed
According to a new study out of the University of Zurich in Switzerland, the key to being really happy is . . . sometimes just saying “screw it” and giving in to your impulse to do something fun without thinking about the consequences. The researchers say, quote, “Of course self-control is important, but research on self-regulation should pay just as much attention to hedonism, or short-term pleasure.” They found that you need to be able to mentally put aside your responsibilities, your hang-ups, and even your long-term goals once in a while in order to TRULY relax and enjoy your life. People who can do that have a better sense of well-being and they’re less likely to suffer from depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
Taco Tuesday Solutions At Home
Here’s a good hack to know while we’re all cooking at home more. How do you make burritos taste as good as they do at restaurants? Obviously the filling matters, and that part’s up to you. But here are five other things you can do . . .
1. Get bigger tortillas. The kind they sell at most grocery stores aren’t as big as the kind at restaurants. And they’re too thick. So look for the biggest, thinnest flour tortillas you can find.
2. Warm the tortilla up before you wrap. You can do it in the microwave, or in a pan. Just don’t let it get crispy. The point is to make it more pliable, so it’s easier to wrap.
3. Learn how to wrap it right. There are a million videos on YouTube you can watch. The right way to do it is by folding the sides in first. Then wrap the bottom up and around, and make it as tight as possible. Then roll it the rest of the way.
4. Sear the seam to seal it shut. And sear the other side too, just to make both sides a little crispy.
5. Wrap it in aluminum foil before you eat it. No one does it at home, but it makes a difference. Leaving it wrapped in foil for a few minutes steams the tortilla. So it ends up crunchy AND chewy.

Some of us the the station have been trying to get back in shape, some good news for everyone who likes to have EPIC CHEAT DAYS where you eat a dozen donuts or an entire pizza, or both. A new study out of England found you can eat an INSANE amount of calories once in a while and it won’t cause you long-term health problems . . . or make you gain lots of weight. Quote, “Our findings show the body actually copes remarkably well when faced with a massive and sudden calorie excess. Healthy humans can eat twice as much as ‘full’ and deal effectively with this huge initial energy surplus.” They even found our bodies do a pretty good job handling all of the extra sugar and fat and using it efficiently. BUT . . . that magic stops working if you start going food crazy too often. Quote, “Overeating . . . adds more stored energy to our bodies in the form of fat, which can culminate in obesity if you overeat day after day.” Here’s the proof here!
After bringing the CRAZY to South Carolina on Sunday, KANYE WEST retreated to his Wyoming ranch so he could . . . Tweet out MORE CRAZY. And hide out from his wife, apparently. Some of Monday’s Tweets have since been deleted, but they included this one: “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie ‘Get Out’ because I cried about saving my daughter’s life yesterday.” He added, quote, “Everybody knows the movie ‘Get Out’ is about me.” He also accused “Kriss” . . . as in Kris Jenner. . . of trying to lock him up, too. He said that “NBC locked up Bill Cosby,” and that, “If I get locked up like Mandela. . . Ya’ll will know why.” He posted Michael Jackson’s “Black or White” video without explanation. And for some reason, he vented that Shia LaBeouf was supposed to do a photo shoot for his Gap line, but never showed up. After all the craziness, Kanye switched gears and Tweeted, quote, “Ima focus on the music now.” Then he posted a track list for his new album, which he named “Donda”, after his late mother . . . and said it’s coming out Friday. Still, things seemed bad enough that DAVE CHAPPELLE flew to Wyoming to check on Kanye, who later posted a semi-awkward video where he’s trying to get Dave to tell a joke to lighten the mood. He tells Dave, quote, “We need some joke, something. Something to like lift our spirits.” And Dave replies, “An uplifting joke? You know I don’t do them.” (WARNING: The clip contains profanity.) Several sources say that Kim and her family are desperately trying to get Kanye back to L.A. so he can get some help.
NICKI MINAJ is pregnant. She showed off her baby bump in a series of pictures yesterday. She captioned one of them, “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. National Junkfood Day Is Today!
If you were planning to have a kale salad for lunch, you’re doing it wrong, because today is National Junk Food Day! The website Zippia.com analyzed Google searches from all 50 states to find each state’s favorite snack. And three categories dominated: potato chips, candy bars, and cookies. Here are the highlights.
1. Candy bars topped the list in 10 states: Utah, 3 Musketeers . . . New Hampshire, Almond Joy . . . Tennessee, Baby Ruth . . . Massachusetts, Crunch Bar . . . Pennsylvania, Hershey’s . . . Nevada, Kit Kats . . . South Dakota, Milky Way . . . Louisiana, PayDay . . . Minnesota, Snickers . . . and Wisconsin, Twix.

3. Various potato chips took first in seven states: Kettle chips in Oregon . . . Lay’s in West Virginia and Georgia . . . Pringles in Indiana and Iowa . . . Ruffles in Alabama . . . and salt-and-vinegar chips in South Carolina.
4. A few more snacks that got more than one state: Fritos are #1 in Delaware, Kentucky, and Nebraska . . . Cheez-Its in Arizona and Washington . . . Ritz Crackers came in first in Maine and Rhode Island . . . Michigan and Oklahoma love South Patch Kids . . . and Starburst snagged the top spot in North Carolina and Ohio.
5. And finally, the LAMEST snacks on the list: Wyoming and North Dakota are both obsessed with sunflower seeds . . . and granola bars are #1 in Alaska.
Throwback Music News
The ’80s were a seriously weird time. And here’s proof: Natalie from “The Facts of Life” sang backup on MICHAEL JACKSON’s“P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)”, along with JANET JACKSON.
MINDY COHN was in the chat at a virtual dance party on Twitch this weekend when the song came on. And she said, quote, “Me and Janet. And I’m the kids at the end, too. We went to listen to the record and Quincy Jones put us on the mike.”

Make It Through Corona Virus Easier
Someone polled 500 workers and asked them to rank the top life skills they’ve had to use to get through the pandemic. And they all apply to life in general too, not just work. Here are the top five . . .
1. An ability to stay focused. It’s a lot harder when you’re working from home with your kids screaming in your ear.
2. The ability to let things go. Don’t sweat the small stuff. And if you have a bad day, try not to dwell on it.
3. Patience. Get used to the idea that things might take longer than usual, or operate a little differently. And it might be a while before we can get back to normal.
4. Acceptance. So you can face problems head-on instead of ignoring them or pretending they don’t exist.
5. Gratitude. Try to stay thankful for what you’ve got, especially in tough times.
KANYE WEST held his first political rally yesterday, and it was pretty much exactly what you’d expect. It went down at the Exquis Event Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. Attendees had to wear a mask AND sign a COVID-19 liability form. They were also asked to social distance, but they didn’t. Kanye didn’t even have a podium, and it sounded like he didn’t have a prepared speech, either. He just stood there having what appeared to be a psychotic break. This was especially true when he talked about abortion, and how when KIM KARASHIAN got pregnant with their daughter North, they talked about ending the pregnancy. He said, quote, “Even if my wife wants to divorce me after this speech she brought North into the world even when I didn’t want to. She stood up and she protected that child.” He compared Kim to his mother, who had him even though his father didn’t want to because he was, quote, “too busy.” Then he lost it and started SOBBING, saying, quote, “I almost killed my daughter! I almost killed my daughter! I love my daughter!” He also took a shot at HARRIET TUBMAN. (???) He said she, quote, “never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people.” He ranted about how he should be on the board at Adidas and The Gap . . . said he’s pro guns because shooting stuff is fun . . . and said he won’t challenge pharmaceutical companies because they would kill him. Oh, and he had “2020” shaved into the back of his head. Is it time to have this guy committed yet? (TMZ, The Wrap)
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and JESSICA BIEL may have just welcomed their second child . . . despite the fact that no one knew they were expecting. Britain’s “Daily Mail“ tabloid says Jessica had the baby boy last week, to join their five-year-old son, Silas. They’re supposedly in Big Sky, Montana, where they’ve been quarantining as a family. There’s still no official word . . . in fact, Justin and Jessica have never even announced that they’re expecting. The craziest fans tore through their social media feeds trying to find pictures of a pregnant Jessica, and there isn’t much to go on. She was last seen from the waist down in March . . . and it’s inconclusive, because she’s wearing loose-fitting pajamas. Late last week, Justin shared an old photo, and said, quote, “#TBT time machine. Summer’s gonna look a little different this year.” Some people think that was a hint about the new baby . . . but he could just be talking about COVID-19.

Sunday is National Ice Cream Day. Not to be confused with the other National Ice Cream Day, on December 13th. Or National Ice Cream Cone Day on September 22nd. Or National Chocolate Ice Cream Day on June 7th. Anyway, there’s a reason why we have so many unofficial holidays for ice cream: We love the stuff. According to a new survey, only 3% of Americans say they don’t eat ice cream . . . and more than 90% of us have a favorite flavor. The 10 most popular flavors are: Chocolate, 17% . . . vanilla, 15% . . . strawberry, 8% . . . mint chocolate chip, 8% . . . butter pecan, 8% . . . cookie dough, 6% . . . cookies and cream, 6% . . . rocky road, 4% . . . coffee, 4% . . . and chocolate chip, 3%. The survey also found the most popular toppings are hot fudge, caramel, and sprinkles. And people are equally likely to order their ice cream in a cup or cone.
Megan Thee Stallion Mystery Revealed
MEGAN THEE STALLION might not have been caught in the cross-fire . . . she might have been intentionally shot by TORY LANEZ, who she was riding with. A source tells the “New York Post”, quote, “Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave. There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.” The police haven’t confirmed that, and Megan hasn’t commented. In her initial statement on social media, she mentioned nothing about Tory . . . only that it was someone trying to harm her.
MEGAN THEE STALLION says she was shot multiple times in Hollywood last weekend. It’s unclear what happened, but it supposedly went down after she was at a party at KYLIE JENNER’s house with rapper TORY LANEZ. Here’s what we know: Tory was arrested during a shots fired investigation at about 4:30 A.M. Sunday. He was booked for having a concealed firearm, but it’s unclear if he was actually doing any shooting. Megan said, quote, “I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me . . . the police officers drove me to a hospital . . .”I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery.'” As for the crime, it’s unclear what that’s all about. The LAPD said, quote, “At the time Megan Thee [Stallion] was with police she did not report that she was the victim of any crime. And [we haven’t] received any additional information at this time.”
(TMZ has UNCENSORED video which apparently shows Megan walking after being shot, and leaving behind bloody footprints.)
If you aren’t doing as well in online dating as you think you SHOULD be, here’s some advice: Put ON a shirt, bro. According to a new study by Dating.com, men who use a shirtless selfie in their online dating profiles get 25% fewer matches. Why? 66% of women say that those pictures show a lack of maturity and self-awareness. And 76% of women don’t think guys with shirtless selfies are long-term relationship material. Now, if you’re wondering, “Does this same thing apply to women who post bikini photos in their online dating profiles?” . . . absolutely NOT. The study found about one in five women have at least one bikini or bathing suit picture in their profile . . . and they get 40% MORE matches than other women.
Mike Tyson Bitin!
It’s official: MIKE TYSON is going to be a part of Shark Week on the Discovery Channel this year. And they’re trying to make us believe he’ll FIGHT a great white shark. “Tyson vs. Jaws: Rumble on the Reef” airs Sunday, August 9th at 9:00 P.M. Discovery says Tyson will, quote, “square off” with a shark in the name of “research”. And legendary ring announcer MICHAEL BUFFER will call the action. In the promo video, Mike promises that “someone’s gonna get bit!” Obviously, Mike Tyson and a shark aren’t going to throw hands . . . or fins. And they’re not gonna try to bite each other to death. Kind of like how MICHAEL PHELPS didn’t actually race a shark a few years back. But you have to admit, Discovery is pretty good at marketing this stuff so you can’t help but tune in, just to find out HOW they’re going to disappoint you.
As heard this morning during Celebrity Dirty at 8:30
If you have a problem on the road, you might call AAA or the authorities . . . or you can get lucky and SHAQ will just happen by. A woman was stranded on the side of the road near Gainesville, Florida on Monday after her car blew a tire. Shaq happened to be driving down the road. He saw her . . . pulled over to make sure she was all right . . . and stayed with her until more help arrived. The county sheriff’s office posted dash-cam footage of their officers pulling up . . . and Shaq is there to greet them. The caption says, quote, “Shaq stopped to check on the welfare of the driver, [and] fist bumped [the] deputies before going on his way. Hey Basketball Cop Foundation you’re not the only one that knows Shaq.” The woman hasn’t commented publicly, but it’s probably safe to assume that she recognized Shaq. I mean, if nothing else, he’s seven-foot-one, so it wouldn’t have been hard to figure out.
Nick Cannon is Wild N Out and OUT
NICK CANNON is under fire for some controversial comments he made on a recent episode of his YouTube talk show, “Cannon’s Class”. Nick was talking with former PUBLIC ENEMY member PROFESSOR GRIFF, who was fired from the group for making anti-Semitic statements in 1989. Among other things, Griff had said, quote, “Jews are responsible for the majority of wickedness around the world.” During the talk, Nick said things like, quote, “The Semitic people are Black people. You can’t be anti-Semitic when we are the Semitic people. When we are the same people they want to be. That’s our birthright.” He also said Black people were “the true Hebrews,” and promoted several anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Nick said that the power of melanin or color in people’s skin . . . or the lack of it . . . has made white people, quote, “a little less” than darker-skinned people, and he claimed this deficiency leads to fear. He was talking about the very first white people in modern-day Europe, but he also went on to say white people’s fear made them lack compassion and become evil. He referred to these ancient white people as “savages,” “barbaric,” and added, quote, “They’re the ones that are actually closer to animals, they’re the ones that are actually the true savages.” Which has some people calling Nick a “black supremacist.” Throughout the conversation, Nick talked about how people call this anti-Semitism and it isn’t . . . and he also said people need to be UNITED not divided. So, clearly, he’s aware that this is charged territory. Nick tried to explain himself on Facebook. He said “uncomfortable conversations” should be embraced, and, quote, “I do not condone hate speech nor the spread of hateful rhetoric.” ViacomCBS wasn’t impressed. Yesterday, they fired Nick from his gigs on their networks, including MTV and Nickelodeon. They said, quote, “While we support ongoing education and dialogue in the fight against bigotry, we’re deeply troubled that Nick has failed to acknowledge or apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism.” Nick also hosts “The Masked Singer” on Fox. They haven’t commented. (Here’s the UNCENSORED video.)
JADA PINKETT admits that she had an affair with AUGUST ALSINA several years ago . . . but she’s using the Ross-from-“Friends” excuse that she and WILL SMITH were ON A BREAK. Jada and Will sat down for an episode of “Red Table Talk”, where she said their marriage was in a bad place at the time . . and Will added, quote, “I was done with your ass . . . I was done with you. Marriages have that, though.” Technically, they were separated, and not sure they’d get back together. And that’s when Jada had what she called an “entanglement” with August. She said, quote, “I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I felt good . “I was in a lot of pain, and I was very broken. Now, in the process of that relationship, I definitely realized that you can’t find happiness outside of yourself.” Obviously, this is something Jada and Will worked through and got past years ago. They’re only talking about it now because August decided to bring it up. But there’s an interesting moment toward the end, where Will says, quote, “I’mma get you back . . .” And Jada replies, quote, “I think you’ve gotten me back . . . I think we’re good on that.” And Will says, quote, “That’s probably true.” But they LAUGH about it, and then they say, quote, “We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life.”
KELLY PRESTON died yesterday after a two-year battle with breast cancer. She was 57. This one comes as a huge shock, because she kept her diagnosis and treatment private.
A statement from the family said, quote, “She was a bright, beautiful and loving soul who cared deeply about others and who brought life to everything she touched. Her family asks for your understanding of their need for privacy at this time.”
In an Instagram post, JOHN TRAVOLTA said, quote, “Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.”
Kelly is survived by John, their 20-year-old daughter Ella, and their 9-year-old son Benjamin. Their oldest child, a son named Jett, died in 2009, at the age of 16.
Her movies included “Twins”, “Jerry Maguire”, “For Love of the Game”, and “The Cat in the Hat”. Her last film was 2018’s “Gotti”, where she and John played mobster John Gotti and his wife Victoria.

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT
Just Overpriced Food

Is sentimental value worth more than actual financial value?
A new survey asked people to name their most prized possessions. And quite a few of the top 10 things . . . including the number one answer . . . are irreplaceable because of what they MEAN, not what they’re worth. Here’s the top 10 . . .
1. Family photos.
2. A wedding ring.
3. A piece of jewelry.
4. An engagement ring.
5. A family heirloom.
6. A laptop computer.
7. A car.
8. A wedding dress.
9. A child’s memory box.
10. A TV.
The survey also found 42% of people have an heirloom that’s been in the family for at least 50 years.
Dad Is Kids Ride Or Die
A new survey asked kids between six and 16 years old whose parents both drive: Who’s a better driver, your mom or your dad?
And the winner is . . . DAD. 43% of kids said he’s better . . . 29% said their mom is better . . . and the rest said their parents are equal. Kids were also more likely to say their dad drives faster and is less likely to get lost. But it’s not all good news for dads. The kids said their dads were more likely to have ROAD RAGE . . . and more kids say they ENJOY driving with their mom than with their dad. The top reasons they like driving with their moms are: Better music . . . more car games . . . and fewer rules like “no yelling” and “no food.”
Bieber Lashes Back
Chances are, as suspected by Bieber’s team, these sexual allegations are an attempt to extort money…or fame. Bieber has had enough, and is lashing back with a 20 Million Dollar lawsuit. Be careful who your accusing with out facts or proof out there! Here’s the facts!
It’s 5 oclock Everywhere
We can stop saying, “It’s five o’clock somewhere.” Because a LOT of us think it’s okay to drink EARLIER than that. At least on weekends. More than 2,500 Americans were asked how early is TOO early to enjoy your first adult beverage on non-workdays. And only 23% said we should wait until 5:00 P.M. or later. 16% said it’s okay to start drinking at NOON. And 10% said that TEN IN THE MORNING or earlier is fine. Another 8% said 11:00 A.M. and 26% said sometime between one and four o’clock. Men are almost twice as likely to think morning drinking is okay on the weekend. And a lot of people in their twenties also agreed with that. Overall, most people described themselves as “social,” “weekend,” or “special occasion” drinkers. Over a third said they don’t drink at all. 3% said they enjoy a drink at every opportunity . . . and only 5% of us drink every day.
Looks Like A Noose To All Of Us, Except the FBI
NASCAR released a photo yesterday of the noose that was found in BUBBA WALLACE’s garage last week, and it’s clearly a noose. So they believe the way they reacted was justified.

NASCAR released the picture of the rope hanging in Bubba Wallace’s garage. THAT is a noose knot 💥 When I posted support for Wallace a few days ago some of the comments were so nasty I ended up blocking several people. I love weeding my garden 😉 I have always said “when someone shows you who they are, believe them”. There will still be folks who see this picture and suspect that Wallace had ulterior motives despite the fact he neither saw it nor reported it. Here is a portion of NASCAR’s report: “After Sunday’s discovery, NASCAR officials asked each track to sweep through respective garages. Across the 1,684 garage stalls at 29 tracks, NASCAR found only 11 total had a pull-down rope tied in a knot and only one noose — the one discovered Sunday in the No. 43 garage stall.” Yes it was there for months before Wallace was assigned to that garage but it is perfectly clear to me why the discovery of the knot generated the FBI response that it did. I am encouraged by the swift and supportive response Wallace received from the racing community while the investigation was ongoing. This and the banning of the confederate flag at official events signal big changes in a sport that has traditionally looked the other way on issues of race 🖤 Have a great day and know #istandwithbubba . . #nascar #bubbawallace #bubba

Home Repairs During Covid Didn’t Help
Have you done any DIY projects around the house during the lockdown? A new survey found most of us have . . . and they don’t always go well.
Close to 70% of people who’ve taken on a home improvement project say they never turn out how they imagine. And 1 in 10 projects end up making things WORSE. Here are five more quick stats from the survey . . .
1. The average person currently has six projects on their to-do list. And 78% of us have noticed at least one thing we’d like to update during the quarantine.
2. It would cost an average of $680 to knock our top three projects off the list.
3. An average of three things go wrong with each task we attempt.
4. The most common mistakes we make are putting things together wrong . . . buying the wrong parts . . . and injuring ourselves.
5. The most common reasons we avoid projects are a lack of money . . . lack of time . . . lack of knowledge . . . and a lack of willpower.
Your Kid Is Costing You!
The extra $500 parents got per kid from the stimulus bill is about to feel like chump change . . .
A new study found that raising a child now costs an average of $252,000 in the U.S. That works out to $14,000 a year for 18 years. Here’s how it breaks down . . .
1. Housing costs the most. An average of $3,971 extra each year.
2. Food, $2,482 a year.
3. Child care and education, $2,280. That includes day care, babysitters, and school expenses. But not college, or private school.
4. Transportation, $2,127.
5. Healthcare, $1,302.
6. Clothing, $795 a year.
7. Miscellaneous expenses, $1,047. That’s everything from toys to haircuts.
All those stats are based on people with two kids . . . so $14,000 per kid, or $28,000 a year. If you only have one, it costs about $17,800 a year. And if you have three, it costs less . . . about $10,600 per child.
Since lots of people went for long stretches without driving their cars, there’s been a big increase in RATS and other animals making nests under their hoods and causing serious damage.
Hugs Not Hands
A hug is safer than shaking hands when it comes to spreading coronavirus, according to a virologist. But isnt that good news anyway? Now we can all be less touchy!
some tips from therapists
how to de-stress when you’re worried about the future. Here are a few more . . .
1. Try repeating a mantra. Write down some phrases you associate with strength, and then repeat them out loud several times in a row.
2. Take a break from the news and social media, and do something good for yourself, like reading or heading outside. Sometimes we just need a break from that stuff to clear our heads and put things in perspective.
3. Practice gratitude. Stay present and try to be grateful for what you have right now in the moment. It works best if you do it every day. Just think of three or four things you’re grateful for. The more specific the better. Writing them down helps too.
4. Connect with other people and vent. Just talking to someone can help. Or even just verbalizing your concerns out loud to yourself might work. The point is to talk it out and see things from another angle . . . it’s a technique called “cognitive reframing.”
5. Remember that anxiety is natural. Some people get anxious just about BEING anxious. So sitting with it for a while can sometimes help by normalizing it in your brain. It gets easier to deal with when you remember anxiety is part of life.
Hollywood CGI Sex is coming soon!
An internal memo from the film editors trade association reportedly says that when film and TV production resumes Friday, any “close contact moments” will have to be rewritten, abandoned, or done with CGI. In other words, we could be watching computer-enhanced sex scenes.
Will anyone ever shake hands again?
Over 500 disease experts were asked when they’ll feel comfortable doing things like shaking hands, seeing friends, and getting haircuts again. A few things they’d potentially do this summer include going on an overnight trip and getting a haircut. But only 3% would go to a concert or sporting event, and 6% said they might NEVER shake hands again. The experts break it down right here!
Hollywood forgot a few stars?
A list of celebrities who surprisingly don’t have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame includes Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Ben Affleck, Beyoncé, Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, and George Clooney. By now I think we all know that getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is no huge honor. Basically, someone nominates you, you promise to attend the ceremony, someone has to pay for it, and you’re in. When you consider that Paula Abdul and Tony Danza each have one, but Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts don’t, it just seems a bit weird.
Nice Guys Finish dead last?
Has society evolved and matured to the point where the old cliché “nice guys finish last” isn’t true anymore? A new survey asked people if they think that, in general, nice guys finish last. 25% of people say nice guys finish last . . . 38% say they don’t . . . And the rest aren’t sure. Men are more likely than women to believe nice guys finish last, 28% of men say it’s true versus 21% of women. Here’s the whole break down to share!
Today is National Donut Day
Today is National Donut Day . . . and lots of donut shops are offering deals, including Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts giving ’em away for FREE. And here are America’s 10 favorite types of donuts, according to a survey in honor of the holiday . . . Glazed . . . Boston cream . . . chocolate frosted . . . jelly . . . chocolate cake . . . maple . . . blueberry . . . bear claw . . . powdered sugar . . . and pink frosted.
Kids favorite hobbies nowadays
Staying inside all day might be harder on you than it is on your kids. A recent study asked 1,000 children aged 7 to 12 to name their favorite hobbies. And the Top 10 are all things that are done indoors . . . 1. Watching TV. 2. Watching YouTube videos. 3. Reading books. 4. Video games. 5. Watching other streaming services. 6. Playing with toys. 7. Playing mobile games. 8. Cooking. 9. Building forts. 10. Puzzles or board games.
Music industry is “BLACKING OUT”
The music industry is “BLACKING OUT” today in response to the deep racial unrest, after recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and “countless other Black citizens at the hands of police.” It’s an initiative that started on social media called #TheShowMustBePaused . . . and it’s meant to be “a day to take a beat for an honest, reflective, and productive conversation about what actions we need to collectively take to support the Black community.” Def Jam, Interscope, Columbia Records, Island Records, Sony/ATV, Capitol, Republic, Warner Music Group, BMG, UMG, and independent distributor EMPIRE are among the record labels who have joined in. But it’s unclear exactly what is happening. There are a lot of strong sentiments about the racism and protests . . . and there are promises to formulate more specific directives in the future, such as canceling programming, like radio shows . . . and there are some who are donating to causes and working with non-profits.
least sharable things in life
Besides “hugs,” “handshakes,” and “masks,” what’s the LEAST sharable thing you can think of? 2,000 people were asked to name the least sharable things in life. Meaning stuff you might not even share with your significant other. Here’s the Top 10 . . .
1. Your underwear. 2. Your toothbrush. 3. Razors. 4. Social media passwords. 5. Bathrooms. Like showering when someone else is on the toilet. 6. Pajamas. 7. Your phone password. 8. Your bank account information. Yes, our phone and Instagram passwords are higher priorities than our banking info now. 9. Towels. 10. T-shirts.

A new survey of Americans who regularly exercise found that HALF have completely given up on having a “beach body” in 2020. Because there’s not enough time, and what’s the point? The average person in the study has gained five pounds in lockdown, and says it’ll take two months just to get back to where they were. Here are six more stats from the survey . . .
1. 49% are worried they’ll NEVER get their pre-quarantine body back. 2. 64% feel less healthy than they did a few months ago.
3. Half said they’ve been eating more carbs, like pasta, white bread, and sweets. 4. A third have been drinking more alcohol.
5. 54% have bought at least one piece of workout equipment in quarantine. But a lot of people have had to improvise. 39% said they’ve used a chair to exercise, and 34% have incorporated a wall into their workout. 6. The most common quarantine workouts include going on walks . . . using exercise apps . . . live-streaming classes . . . and following along to YouTube videos. Here’s the scoop
Have you leaned into the lockdown, or are you still at peak stress? Here are five subtle signs you’re more stressed-out than usual . . .
Toooooooo Tired Lately
Have you leaned into the lockdown, or are you still at peak stress? Here are five subtle signs you’re more stressed-out than usual
1. You’re tired, even when you haven’t done much. Stress alone is exhausting, even when you’re not physically active. And chronic fatigue can be a sign you’re depressed.
2. You startle really easily. It might be a sign you’re feeling tense. We’re more likely to be jumpy when we’re on edge.
3. You’re TOO productive or zoned in on a hobby. Excessive enthusiasm and extreme productivity are coping mechanisms for some people. Having zero interest in stuff can also be a sign of stress though.
4. More headaches. Possibly because you’re overly tense and anxious. Things like dizziness, ulcers, insomnia, and stomach problems can also be linked to anxiety.
5. You’re more forgetful. When your brain is overloaded with stress, it’s harder to manage simple tasks and checklists that would normally be routine.
So, what about your dreams?
Have you ever felt mad at someone for something they did to you in a DREAM? 42% of people in a new poll said yes. It also asked about nightmares in general. Here are the ten most common nightmares we have, according to the poll . . .
1. Being chased. 40% of us have had a dream where someone was chasing us.
3. Being attacked.
4. Running late for something.
5. Being lost or trapped somewhere.
6. Waking up late. So “being late” made the list twice.
7. Someone you love is dying.
8. Being visited by a deceased loved one, or a ghost.
9. YOU are dying.
10. Being left by your significant other. A few more that just missed the top 10 were being back in high school . . . being naked in public . . . and your teeth falling out.
The survey also found the top things currently keeping us up at night are coronavirus news . . . personal life stress . . . and general aches and pains. Here’s the whole breakdown!

Finally, the 4 second workout is here!
Walking is really in its heyday right now, because everyone wants to get out of the house. But if you actually WANT to spend 99% of your time on the sofa, this might be exciting news . A new study just came out in the journal “Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise”. And it found that you might be able to counteract all the sitting you do by working out for FOUR SECONDS at a time. Researchers wanted to know if super-short bursts of intense exercise did any good. So they made people sit for six hours straight, then put them on a stationary bike. They made them peddle as hard as they could for four seconds . . . followed by a 45-second break . . . and they repeated that process five times. Each person did it once an hour, for eight hours throughout the day. Which might sound like a lot. But all total, that’s only 2 minutes and 40 seconds of actual exercise a day. And it made a significant difference in their health within 24 hours. When doctors tested their blood the next day, their triglycerides were 30% lower than the day before. And their metabolism had jumped, so they were burning more calories even when they were doing nothing. The study used bikes, but any sort of high-intensity exercise could work. Even a few sets of jumping jacks once an hour could make a big difference.

Time is ticking away on your TV
Have you spent more hours in front of the TV this month than you’ve spent sleeping? Apparently a full THIRD of our life is dedicated to streaming right now. The average American has watched EIGHT HOURS of content a day during lockdown, according to a new poll. Here are six more stats on our current streaming habits. 3 in 4 people admit they’re streaming more content than normal right now. 65% of parents are letting their kids watch more movies and TV shows than usual. (Shout-out to the 35% who AREN’T using it as a crutch.) We’re not always searching for fresh content. 56% of people said they frequently re-watch a show instead of starting something new. The average streamer has access to four different streaming services like Hulu and Netflix. And 38% of us use more than five. Since the outbreak began, 42% of us have shared a password or used someone else’s login info to stream. The top people we share with are our significant other, a friend, a sibling, and our parents. We go through an average of three full shows a week. And half of us have binge-watched an entire TV series in less than 48 hours. (NY Post)

Worst concert news Ever!
If you were thinking we’d sit through another few weeks of quarantine, and then we’d get back to hitting up live concerts, sporting events, and other large-scale gatherings . . . you might NOT want to get your hopes up. Experts say it could be MANY months before that can happen, and one has a sobering prediction. Zeke Emanuel, the director of the Healthcare Transformation Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, told the “New York Times” that concerts and sporting events won’t be safe to attend until “the fall . . . of 2021 . . . at the earliest.” He said, quote, “You can’t just flip a switch and open the whole of society up. It’s just not going to work. It’s too much. The virus will definitely flare back to the worst levels.” He added that the re-starting of the economy will have to be done in stages, and crowded events like concerts and sporting events will be the last part of our old lives to return. When the main thing you have to look forward to every day is EATING, you’re going to want to do it early . . . and make it delicious. According to a new study, there have been two pretty big shifts in our eating habits since we all started staying inside. We’re eating earlier. The average family now eats lunch before noon, and eats dinner in the 5:00 P.M. hour. We’re eating way more desserts. One food delivery app found a 36% jump in people ordering desserts with their meals . . . with chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake, and apple pie being most popular. The study also found people are ordering more sides for delivery than before . . . and are getting delivery on weekdays way more than before.

A new survey found 60% of us are working on new SKILLS AND HOBBIES while we’re stuck at home. Here are the top ten ways we’re trying to improve ourselves while on lockdown . . .
1. Learning to cook or bake. Maybe because you almost HAVE to right now.
2. Working out at home every day.
3. Learning a new language.
4. Starting a diet.
5. Learning yoga
6. Learning to grow vegetables.
7. Learning to garden in general.
8. Researching your family tree.
9. Mastering an instrument.
10. Taking college courses online.
A few more that made the top 25 include learning how to draw . . . learning to video chat . . . learning to cut your own hair . . . getting really good at puzzles . . . learning to code . . . and writing a novel.
Someone started a petition to have DR. ANTHONY FAUCI named “People” magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. As of last night, it had almost reached its target of 1,500 signatures. DR. ANTHONY FAUCI is picking up quite a following . . . but is he SEXY? I mean, like, IDRIS ELBA-sexy? A few people seem to think so. Somebody started a petition on Change.org to have him named “People” magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. As of last night, it had more than 3,400 signatures and the updated target goal was 5,000. The petition states, “His comforting and intelligent demeanor has helped to lessen our national anxiety. He speaks truth to power, a strength few have at this time. “His kind face and manner of speaking bring calm during the storm. For sapiophiles and many others, he is the definitive Sexiest Man Alive in 2020.” (A sapiophile is someone who is attracted to intelligence or intelligent people.) On the flip side, Fauci has been forced to beef up his security because he’s been getting DEATH THREATS. Which may be from people who are upset about his quarantine recommendations . . . or the fact that he often contradicts the president.
Has anyone tried this hack? Apparently it makes a big difference when you order pizza. Especially pizza with really good crust. The next time you order, ask them NOT to cut it into slices. Here’s why, As soon as they cut it, the oil and sauce start dripping down and soaking into the crust. So by the time it gets to you, the crust is much soggier than it was when they took it out of the oven. Apparently it makes a bigger difference with higher-end pizza. It doesn’t matter as much at places like Domino’s where the crust is already kinda soft. (That said, the Domino’s website has a tab that makes it easy to order your pizza “uncut.”) If you don’t have a pizza cutter at home, there are some cheap ones on Amazon for about ten bucks. Or just use a big knife or kitchen shears. (It also sounds like it might make sense in this post-coronavirus world we now live in. Less hands touching your pizza can’t be a bad thing, right?)
Other Things To Do While Were All Trapped In
If you’re stuck at home trying to help prevent the spread of coronavirus, here are 15 things you can do with your extra time this weekend . . .
1. If you’re a foodie . . . Get takeout from a restaurant you’ve been wanting to try. Make a recipe you’ve had bookmarked forever. Or look for new recipes to make once things settle down.
2. If you’re a sports fan . . . Read up on the history of your favorite sport or team, so when they start playing again, you’ll have an even greater appreciation for it. Revisit an old game, like on TV or YouTube. Or watch a sports documentary.
3. If you’re into culture . . . Take a virtual museum tour, like the ones on Google’s Arts & Culture page. Read books or watch movies you never had time for before. Or try learning a new language.
4. If you’re an extrovert or busybody . . . Host a virtual happy hour with your friends. Break out board games and puzzles to do with your family. Or try something artsy, like painting or an adult coloring book.
5. If you just want to relax . . . Meditate. Take a bath. Or just take a nap.
The time Kanye called Taylor Swift to tell her about his song sex talk. Remember in 2016, when KIM KARDASHIAN posted Snapchat videos of Kanye talking to Taylor on the phone about his song “Famous” . . . to “prove” that he gave her a heads-up and cleared the lines with her? Well, the full video of the 25-minute phone call has been released, and if you doubted Taylor, you owe her an apology.
(Here’s the full transcript.) The video confirms Taylor’s story: That Kanye talked to her about a “tongue-in-cheek” line about how they “might still have sex”. . . but she DIDN’T know about the line he added, where he said he “made that [B-word] famous.” When Kanye reveals the sex line, Taylor laughs and says she’s just glad it “wasn’t mean,” and he didn’t call her, quote, “that stupid dumb [B-word].” Kanye suggests Taylor could help launch the song . . . basically to show that she’s endorsing it. She’s hesitant about that part, but seems fine with the line itself. Kanye talks about how, as a friend, he wouldn’t want to say anything about Taylor without asking her first . . . and Taylor says how nice it was that he actually cleared it with her first. Which of course, IS what ended up happening. Then, Kanye tips his hand a bit more: He asks Taylor if it’s cool that, later in the song, he has a line about “making her famous.” (Still no B-word.) Taylor bristles a bit, and says, quote, “Well, what am I going to do about it?” She also reminds Kanye that she’d already sold MILLIONS of albums before he supposedly “made her famous.” It’s worth pointing out that Kanye says he’s sending Taylor the full song and exact lyrics beforehand . . . but there’s no indication that actually happened. Also, Taylor did NOT know she was being recorded. The rest of the call is just Kanye rambling ON and ON about how he’s going to change the world . . . how he’s going to be a multi-billionaire . . . and about how he’s the most important person driving culture around the world. (Here’s the full, weird UNCENSORED video.

After all . . . this is a GREAT time to meet someone online and gradually get to know them through chatting. Half of the people who’ve signed up for online dating say they’re planning to have “virtual dates” with people until it’s safe to get together again. BILLIE EILISH loves to wear baggy clothes, because she doesn’t want to be sexualized. But she kicked off her world tour in Miami on Monday by stripping down to just her BRA. And it was all to make a statement about body shaming. Here’s how it went down: A pre-recorded video played on a big screen, along with a two-minute spoken word monologue about how she constantly feels judged. And she slowly removed layers of clothing in the video. First her hoodie, then her shirt. The monologue included the line, “If what I wear is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I am a slut. Though you’ve never seen my body, you STILL judge it.” If you want to hear the full speech, a bunch of fans posted videos online.
(Profanity Warning: Here’s one of them. Careful, there’s PROFANITY in the background throughout!)
Ten Years Ago, here was your life
Hopefully we’ll look back in 10 years and say, “Wow, remember when we were so paranoid about the CORONAVIRUS?” Heck, hopefully we’re able to say it in 10 MONTHS, because a decade is a long time.
Case in point: Buzzfeed has a list of pop culture stories that happened 10 years ago this month, in March of 2010. And here are 15 highlights from it . . .
1. The cast of “Glee” announced their first tour. The show was just under a year old at that point. It ran from 2009 to 2015.
2. Ricky Martin came out as gay in an open letter on his website.
3. The Tiger Woods cheating scandal was dominating headlines. The “National Enquirer” broke the story in November of 2009. But it was still all over the news four months later. His divorce was finalized in August of 2010.
4. In March of 2010, we found out Chris Evans would be starring in the upcoming “Captain America” movie. He’s now played him in ELEVEN different movies.
5. Kim Kardashian and NFL star Reggie Bush broke up. She started dating NBA player Kris Humphries later that year . . . got married eight months later . . . filed for divorce 72 days after that . . . and married Kanye West in 2014.
6. Jay Leno returned to host “The Tonight Show” after Conan O’Brien got the boot.
7. Reality star Jesse James issued a public apology after he was caught cheating on Sandra Bullock. She filed for divorce a month later.
8. Corey Haim died of pneumonia at age 38. Today is the 10th anniversary.
9. Zach Braff announced on Facebook that “Scrubs” would be ending after nine seasons.
10. Betty White was suddenly America’s sweetheart, and NBC announced she’d be hosting “SNL”. She was a fresh-faced 88-year-old at the time.
13. Lady Gaga released her music video for “Telephone”, featuring Beyoncé.
Ever consider getting paid to get sick?
Aspiring human guinea pigs, coronavirus just might be your big win! A British company called Hvivo that studies viruses is one of the many groups working like crazy to find a vaccine or cure for COVID-19, which is caused by the recent coronavirus outbreak. But they need people with the virus to study. So . . . they’re paying up. They’re looking for volunteers to INTENTIONALLY infect with the virus for $4,550. Then you’ll live in their lab in London for two weeks. So hey, $4,550 AND two weeks of free rent. Is it risky to intentionally get a potentially fatal disease? On some level, yes . . . but you’ve got two things working in your favor. One, they’ll infect you with a milder strain. Two, young, healthy people usually handle this virus okay . . . and across all ages, over 96% of people who get coronavirus survive. (And hey, if you don’t volunteer, you might end up catching the virus for FREE anyway.) The lab is only taking groups of 24 people at a time. You can check out their website FluCamp.com to see when applications go live.
Do you know anyone who NEVER seems tired?
If so, I’m not saying that they should be kidnapped by government scientists to be studied and probed . . . but I’m also not NOT saying that. According to the National Sleep Foundation’s annual Sleep in America survey, the average person feels tired at least three days a week. And only 16% of people say they rarely ever feel tired. 58% of people say being tired affects their mood . . . 55% say it can make them irritable . . . and 33% say it makes them feel sick. So how do we try to cope when we’re tired? The eight most common things we do are: Try to shake it off . . . get some fresh air . . . drink coffee . . . take a nap . . . drink a soda or other drink with caffeine . . . eat some sugar . . . chew gum . . . and take a stimulant, either one that was prescribed or we bought over-the-counter.
Song’s to Wash to!
You’re supposed to sing “Happy Birthday” twice to make sure you wash your hands for 20 seconds. But the choruses from a lot of popular songs are also around that same length. So if you get sick of “Happy Birthday”, try singing the chorus from “Africa” by Toto . . “Love on Top” by Beyoncé . . . “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac . . . “Raspberry Beret” by Prince . . . and “Truth Hurts” by Lizzo. “Stayin’ Alive” by The Bee Gees is another good one, because it’s also the CPR song. You don’t have to feel boxed in by those picks though. A lot of popular songs have choruses around 20 seconds. So just time out your favorite song, and see if it works.
Less than a quarter of millennials say they’re GOOD at fixing things around the house, according to a new survey. And MILLIONS of millennials say they call for help to hang a picture . . . or change a light bulb. It’s hard to change a light bulb when you’ve got a lifetime of crippling debt in the way. According to a new survey, less than a quarter of millennials say they’re GOOD at fixing things around the house. And MILLIONS of millennials say they call for help to hang a picture . . . or change a light bulb. The average millennial says they’ll go more than three weeks with a light bulb out before they get around to fixing it. Some of the other jobs around the house that millennials can’t or won’t do are putting up wallpaper . . . painting . . . fixing a loose screw . . . fixing a heater . . . or tightening the hinges on a cabinet. But it’s not all out of laziness or a lack of basic skills. It’s also an issue of CONFIDENCE . . . 33% say someone else will do a better job fixing stuff. Shaving won’t not stop the Corona Virus
There were tons of reports going around yesterday saying that the CDC had put out a warning about how your FACIAL HAIR might put you at risk for catching coronavirus. But it’s for people who need to use masks or respirators at WORK . . . and it’s a couple years old. Your facial hair is totally sweet. But is it worth getting swept up in a global pandemic? Well, you might not need to grab your razor just yet. Yesterday, there were TONS of reports that the CDC had put out a warning about how your FACIAL HAIR might put you at risk for catching coronavirus. And there was even an infographic with 36 different facial hair styles to show which are and aren’t at risk. The idea was that you need to make sure all of your facial hair fits under a mask or respirator . . . otherwise the virus could get stuck in the exposed hairs. So some of the facial hair styles the CDC said were fine are: Clean shaven . . . soul patch . . . and the Zorro. And some styles that would put you at risk are: Stubble . . . ZZ Top beards . . . mutton chops . . . the Fu Manchu . . . and the Dali. But the whole thing actually had nothing to do with the current coronavirus outbreak. It was a chart from the CDC’s section on workplace safety, for people who need to wear masks and respirators at WORK . . . and it’s been on their website since 2017. Currently, the CDC does NOT recommend wearing masks or respirators to avoid the coronavirus, unless you need to wear one for work.

If your dog goes to the bathroom in under five minutes, you might consider it a successful walk. But have you actually been walking your dog WRONG this whole time? According to the head of PETA, it might be true. Here are four tips to make trips outside a little better for your dog . . .
1. Realize what a big deal it is for them. Going for a walk is a major event for a dog, especially if you don’t have a yard. So stop thinking of it as something you HAVE to do, and think of it as something they look forward to. Quote, “It’s more than a bathroom break, it’s an excursion.”
2. Give them more time to sniff stuff. You don’t have to let them smell the same tree for 20 minutes. But don’t constantly yank them along with you. Think of it like this. Sniffing things is your dog’s way of reading the news.
3. Be more involved, not so distracted. Dogs are smarter than we realize. And they can sense when you’re not truly present with them. So don’t stare at your phone the whole time. Try to be more involved in their walks.
4. Stop walking them with just a leash and collar. A harness is better and won’t hurt their neck as much. Especially when they lunge at stuff.
