This is the mash up no one asked for.  This movie season is taking time to celebrate the many movies featuring African American story lines, especially with so many up for awards.  One small hiccup garnered Jenna Bush a little more attention than I’m sure she wanted when she mashed together Fences with Hidden Figures while interviewing Pharrell on the red carpet.  A slight of tongue mistake that could have happened to any of us, but she didn’t catch it and Pharrell didn’t correct.

In the age of the internet this is something that people surely will not let go.  I will give the Late Show with Stephen Colbert some credit for this quick turn around on the movie trailer that we did not ask for.  It so perfectly says everything about the small mistake.  Not a malicious mistake by any means, but each movie deserves a certain level of respect.
