I hope you’ve been practicing your smizing because America’s Next Top Model is making a comeback.

Growing up, watching America’s Next Top Model was the highlight of my existence. Every Saturday my eyes would be glued to the TV watching that week’s ANTM marathon.  I would spend the whole day binge watching a bunch of girls posing for pictures, creating stupid petty drama with each other, all while starving themselves…and I loved every minute of it.

So when I found out that America’s Next Top Model was making a comeback, I could not wait to see all my fave regulars back in action.

However, today I found out that the show is starting completely fresh. New panel judges and a new host. Might as well rip out my heart and step on it.

The new panel includes model Ashley Graham, Paper Magazine’s chief executive officer Drew Elliot, and celebrity stylist Law Roach. While they all seem highly qualified for the position, no one will be able to top Miss J. He always made the show more interesting, not only with his confident, out-there persona, but also with his eccentric fashion statements. Miss J, you will be sincerely missed.

Now I can probably get over a new panel of judges, but let’s not forget the most important part: Tyra will not be returning.

I am high-key salty. Tyra Banks was one of the main reasons I watched the show. When you think of America’s Next Top Model, you think of Tyra; so don’t blame me for being a little upset that the show’s most vital asset won’t be returning.

Singer and actress Rita Ora has just  been announced to be the new host. I don’t really know that much about her except that she dated Calvin Harris, she is randomly a part of the Fifty Shade’s cast, and she has a song with Iggy. To me, that is not the best track record. However, maybe she will pleasantly surprise   me. She is absolutely gorgeous and due to her celebrity status, I am sure she has a good amount of experience dealing with photo shoots and working with people in the industry. Who knows maybe she will be the Tyra of the next generation…maybe.

She has some pretty big shoes to fill, but don’t worry Rita. I am rooting for you, we are all rooting for you.
