Today is National Selfie Day, and over the years, we’ve all gotten pretty good at capturing the perfect light, angle, and facial expression. Snapchat has been most educational for me (Add me @noahonair).

It’s human nature to think we’re pretty fantastic, and to always try to look our best. As someone who has been in plenty of selfies, have to admit this is my favorite picture. It is my 5 week old son, Leonard, and his only living great grandparent.

My grandfather is 93, and still lives alone. He and my grandmother were married for over 60 years when she passed 5 years ago. He’s actually a great, great grandfather. I’ll never live to see that, and not many get that kind of blessing.

Even if you don’t have Chucks on with St. Laurent, kiss yourself because you’re so pretty. Might be National Selfie Day, but this is still my favorite picture. What is yours?
