Growing up in a farm family we had every kind of animal imaginable around. Most of them came and went as they pleased like the dog and cats. No matter the legs, fur, feathers, skin, or otherwise, all little buddies are pretty awesome. That’s why it’s always so surprising to me how many people feel the need to just pick one. Being a cat parent doesn’t mean you have to dislike dogs, or vice versa. They’re not mutually exclusive.

Always get a laugh when reading a bio that says something like, “Puppy lover only,” or, “Definitely can’t stand dogs.” What’s even more surprising is when someone is allergic to a certain animal, but still loves them so much the animal stays in the house anyway. It’s like, “I’m going to itch, and have a scratchy throat and watery eyes, but it’s because we’re a cat family dang it!” (You get the idea, we all know someone like this.)
