Sadly, crime and violence exist everywhere. And while this year in Peoria has been better than years past, there is still too much violence in our city. So, it’s time to gather with other members of the community and walk for peace!
Tonight at 6pm, PPD Officer Morris Franklin will lead a Peace Walk from the PPD at 6pm to Liberty Park on the Riverfront. The walk will include football players from Manual and Central as well as their families and friends.
EVERYONE is invited to the walk whom is committed to peace and help kickoff a great football season!
The Manual v Central game will be Friday, Aug 28, 7pm at Peoria Stadium.
Lets work on making our city safer for our children and show the world that we stand for peace!
